  • —. What is Cirrus?

Cirrus is a teaching and learning platform, built using AustLit's custom-built Content Management System (CMS). Funding by a Technology-Enhanced Learning Grant from The University of Queensland, Cirrus was built (under the name AusArts) as a beta system in 2016. With funding from a Teaching Innovation Grant, it was refined in 2017.

Cirrus specialises in annotation-based assessment, including image, text, video, and audio annotation, and in long-form online writing, including online exhibitions and multimedia-enhanced prose.

The PowerPoint below gives a quick overview of Cirrus functionality.
