Children's adventure television series about children who live on fictional Circe Island, a fishing community and communications base off the coast of Western Australia. The first series featured episodes in which the children outwitted adults, particularly the character Hermes Endakis. The series later emphasised environmental issues, particularly in the second series, where the children try to stop a big corporation from destroying their island.

A rocker whose glory days were twenty years earlier in the 1970s unexpectedly finds that he has twin children when their mother dies in a plane crash and they and their carer move in with him.

'When Kostas Stephanidis came to this country 23 years ago with 20 pounds in his pocket, one suitcase and his father's pants, he opened a small Greek café, Acropolis, where old men played cards and drank coffee. Now he has decided to retreat to an idyllic lifestyle in the Greek islands, leaving his one and only son, Jim, to uphold the café and family tradition. After careful thought, however, rather than entrust his beloved Acropolis café to his only son, Jim, Kostas insists on putting someone more sensible in charge. Jim's pal, Ricky, he has brains - he's been a college student! Amid cultures clashing - and crockery smashing - Jim and Ricky generate riches all right. But strictly in the form of laughs. The key writers of "Acropolis Now" are also in the cast. Nick Giannopolis, George Kapiniaris and Simon Palomares. The unique trio who were responsible for having staged Australia's longest running stage comedy, "Wogs Out Of Work".'

'When Bluey cannot get the co-operation he wants from the Assistant Commissioner, he sets up an elaborate ruse using Truscott, and nearly loses him a close friend. [sic]

'Department B has been given the job of investigating Lonely Hearts Clubs which are somehow involved in burglary of houses whilst women are out on dates set up through the clubs.

'Things start to go wrong when Truscott, in the process of investigating an office, is caught red handed and it appears that he will have to serve time for breaking and entering unless Bluey can come up with a plan to get him off. Bluey's plan, however, gets Truscott into more trouble.'

'ARTHUR RICE 30. works [sic] for Burroughs, knows the ins and outs of the business but is more interested in the prostitution side of the job.

'WALLY WATERS 35/6, a good thief who has the respect of the police as a square shooter. It is only by accident that anyone gets hurts when he works, but that's no excuse.
