'In This Woman Adrienne Eberhard's themes of gardens and nature, fecundity, random illness and cycles of renewal, explore the vital connections that develop between people and place. Ranging from the D'Entrecasteaux Channel to Canton, Papua New Guinea and Kew and from the eighteenth century to the present, these poems investigate ways in which physical places create mental and emotional spaces fundamental to human needs.
