Author's note: The author has read and admired a stanza titled 'An Evening Prayer'. He decides to exend the short poem, and invites the reader to 'decide on my measure of talent by a perusal of the last four Stanzas, which I composed as an addition to the first Stanza - written, I believe by Bishop Heber'.
