'One dog's journey to find friendship and a place to call home.
'King, the kelpie, has a great life: a warm bed, good friends and a firm but fair master. Then King is sold and sent to live with a young farmer who doesn't even know how to whistle!
'But a raging flood separates King from his new home and embarks him on a fresh set of adventures including an unlikely friendship with a wire-haired terrier, a bulldog and a dingo, and an encounter with fierce black dogs guarding an opal mine.
'Then King hears that the farm and his new master are in trouble. Does he stay and help his new friends do battle against the black dogs - or return home to help save the farm and his new master? It's time to decide where his heart - and home - really lie.' (Publication summary)
