Author note: cyme (pron. syme) -- a system of flowering, where the first axis produces a single terminal flower, from which secondary and higher ranks of flowers develop, each following the system.

A poem in five parts, each with five lyrics. Parts I-IV meditate respectively on self in its origins, as daughter, as mother and as lover; Part V concerns renewal.
