BiographyHistory

Richard Murray was taken from his family at an early age. Murray first stayed in the Cootamundra Girls Home until he was eight then was placed in the Kinchela Boys Home until he was fifteen. In his last few years in Kinchela, he went to a training school, which would prepare him for the workforce. At the age of fifteen, a processing job was arranged for him. Murray was not reunited with his parents until he was an adult.
