BiographyHistory

Although Cissy Ross-Kelly was born in Mossman she was raised in the Daintree where she remained until she was old enough to leave school. After moving out of her parents home Ross-Kelly worked as a housekeeper in the homestead and sometimes as a cook in the mustering camps around Crocodile Station. Ross-Kelly also worked as a housekeeper in Cairns before moving back to the Daintree to marry. She later moved to Mossman and worked in the high school as a cleaner. Ross-Kelly is the daughter of Sandy Cobb (q.v.).
