BiographyHistory

Barry Cooper describes himself as a Black fella from the south coast of NSW. His stories have appeared in Meanjin and Best Australian Stories 2006, 2007 and translated into Swedish in Australien berättar : drömtidens framtid : nitton noveller(Australia Says : Dream Tomorrow's Future : Nineteen Short Stories), edited by Lars Ahlstrom. His short story Bean Paddock Blues was also read on Awaye! ABC Radio National on August 4, 2007. Cooper's poems have been published in the Koori Mail.
