BiographyHistory

Arthur Baumgarten was a Wadjeri man from Western Australia. Baumgarten went through traditional law in 1934. He held jobs such as fencing, mustering, building houses and windmills. In 1941, Baumgarten joined the Australian Army for three and a half years. He was given a ninety-nine year lease on a block of land near Meekatharra by Western Mining.
