In 2018, the 'Australasian Zone' is controlled by the Salamander, a dictator who controls a population frightened by a recent apocalypse–and who bears a striking resemblance to the Doctor.

  • Lost (but for a single episode) for many years after the BBC's purging of its tapes, 'The Enemy of the World' was rediscovered and remastered in 2013.
