Political/revolutionary thriller set in a near-future Australia under the totalitarian control of a brutal military regime.
Screen Australia offers the following synopsis:
A nation is collapsing... It's harvest time in Ithaca, a shanty town at the far edge of a massive wheat belt. Roaming women labourers return to find their jobs stolen by a greedy mill boss in league with a cabal of land barons, a private prison farm and an army on a hair-trigger. A state of emergency is declared and young conscripts are dispatched. The army unleashes a terrible vengeance and the people have only one choice...resistance.
