BiographyHistory

'The late Shane Russell was a Biripi Kamiloroi man. For six years he was Animation Director at Aboriginal Nations. Shane created and produced The Bungalunga Man and in 1994, at the Annecy Animation Festival (Academy Awards for Animation), it won Best Animation, the first time an Aboriginal person had won such an award.'
