Romlie Mokak is a Djugun man from western Australia, his professional dedication to improving Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander health has seen him spend an impressive amount of time as Chief Executive Officer of 'the Lowitja Institute' after also serving time at 'the Australian Indigenous Doctors Association' (AIDA) Where he used his position as Chief Executive Officer to build the organisations capacity to critically and substantially contribute to the betterment of Indigenous health.

'He has also worked at community, state and national levels in Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander policy areas, including disability, ageing, population health, financing and substance use. He holds a Bachelor of Social Science degree and a Postgraduate Diploma in Special Education. He has also completed the Australian and New Zealand Health Leadership Program'
