Initially published by Wildside Press imprint Cosmos Books (Nos 1-3, 2001-2002), the series was taken over by Prime Books in 2002. Each volume was given its on distinct subtitle. Up until Summer 2003 each volume number between 160 and 200 pages, with this rising to 300 and eventually over 400 pages (Vol 9). The editors for all nine volumes were Mick Sims and Len Maynard.
