AbstractHistoryArchive Description
''Mum’s In' is a very smart and brave look not only at the history of Kings Cross, but is more relevant in the current political climate of the times. Amidst the present furore surrounding the potential legislation that is edging upon a second age of prohibition in that area, Mum’s In highlights what can and has happened as a result of this. Kings Cross 2012 is right now staring down the barrel of a repetition of 1930’s Kings Cross politics. In this way the show is an eye-opening experience beyond its artistic excellence.'
