The Editor upon Himself and His Book, single work column
The editor of My Note Book details an expansion in the journal's pages due to an increase in advertising. (The paper was to expand to twelve pages, but this did not, in fact, occur.) The editor also thanks two friends - one who has 'taken charge of the department of dramatic criticism' and another whose 'clever metrical compositions' relieve the editor's own 'somewhat prosaic prose'. (Neither friend is identified by name.)
