Look! The Art of Australian Picture Books was first exhibited at the State Library of Victoria in 2011. It then toured cities and regional towns in eastern Australia including Brisbane, Canberra, Hazelhurst, Tweed River, Maitland and the Mornington Peninsula between December 2011 and April 2013.
The exhibition 'celebrates the worlds and stories revealed in picture books' during the first decade of the twenty-first century. It includes original artwork, sketches and drawings by more than forty Australian illustrators, including Bob Graham, Jeannie Baker, Ann James, Shaun Tan, Graeme Base, Leigh Hobbs and Terry Denton.
