Notes

  • Author's note: Found object: A pink Venus shell found on NKI beach about four metres from a large boulder facing the mainland, at the edge of the high tide mark.
  • This work was created at the annual (2011) Idiom23 Writer’s Workshop at North Keppel Island’s Environmental Education Centre. Participants focused on stories and poems initiated by a beach combing expedition for a ‘found object’. (Source: Idiom23, Volume 21, 2011).
