  • Contains section, 'Men of the Month', which comprises brief biographical notes with accompanying portraits of notable individuals from various professions. This issue includes the author Ion L. Idriess (q.v.), mentioning his latest book Men of the Jungle (1932). The selection also acknowledges, Warwick O. Fairfax who was 'Managing Director of John Fairfax & Sons Ltd.' (q.v.) and represented 'the fourth generation of the family proprietors of The Sydney Morning Herald'.
  • Includes a brief reference that notes, 'Mrs Ann Neville [aka Ann Neville Goyder Joske], her sister, Mrs Margot Goyder, [qq.v.] and Mr Gerald Kirby' are 'delighted at the acceptance by Mr Owen Nares and Miss Fay Compton of their play, "Once a Husband", which...is to be produced at the Haymarket.
