Idriess (q.v.), mentioning his latest book Men of the Jungle (1932). The selection also acknowledges, Warwick O. Fairfax who was 'Managing Director of John Fairfax & Sons Ltd.' (q.v.) and represented 'the fourth generation of the family proprietors of The Sydney Morning Herald'.
  • Includes a brief reference that notes, 'Mrs Ann Neville [aka Ann Neville Goyder Joske], her sister, Mrs Margot Goyder, [qq.v.] and Mr Gerald Kirby' are 'delighted at the acceptance by Mr Owen Nares and Miss Fay Compton of their play, "Once a Husband", to be produced at the Haymarket.
