A police investigation into a serial killer turns up a mysterious witness. Anthony Grey is polite, gentle, introverted and shy, and immediately agrees to aid the police in tracking down their prime suspect. As the layers of truth and deception are frantically stripped away, they reveal a man utterly convinced that he is the devil incarnate, and a detective who's willing to believe him.
