AbstractHistoryArchive Description

A modern twist on William Shakespeare's classic story of plotting and betrayal, Cry Havoc takes the political intrigue and deception of Julius Caesar and relocates its setting to the White House, replacing the Roman senators with American government officials. The storyline sees the administration of fictional right-wing Republican President James Freeman in turmoil when he suddenly adopts a left-wing approach to new government policies. With national security at stake, the President's Chief of Staff is left to face an unimaginable choice.
