Notes

  • Vu Lan is a Day in Buddhist calendar, on the 15th of the Lunar seventh month. This is to commemorate mothers, deceased and living. At the temples, red roses will be worn by those people with living mothers, and white roses for those whose mothers were no longer alive.
  • English translation of the title: Missing Mother on Vu Lan Day
