  • Contains 'The Blumenfeld Diary' (by A. C. B.), a brief section which refers to American-born newspaper editor and journalist, Ralph David Blumenfeld (1864-1948). Attributed to A. C. B., the commentary notes that 'we get some references interesting to Australians' in 'the diary of R. D. Blumenfeld, which the editor of the London Daily Express recently published'. Appearing in the column 'Contributed Comments', the piece recounts Blumenfeld's anecdotes relating to Louis Becke and Gilbert Parker (qq.v.).
