Untitled, 'Dramaticus' , single work correspondence
'Dramaticus' reports on a civic meeting (following a concert, probably in the New School Room in Castlereagh St) at which several gentlemen offered to become shareholders in the establishment of a theatrical establishment in Sydney. 'Dramaticus' hopes that more people will come forward with offers of assistance and invites 'lovers of legitimate drama' to support the plan which will lead to 'the advancement of literature and the fine arts generally'.
