AbstractHistoryArchive Description

Masson recounts the experiences of a group of Aboriginal people taken from their camp to the Court House in Darwin to appear as witnesses or accused in a murder trial. Masson considers how well justice was actually served under the circumstances, and proceeds to consider the future for the white, Chinese and Aboriginal peoples of the Northern Territory.
