This column includes an invitation to a Cabaret Ball to be held by the 'Ahmaco Social Club'. According to the author, the club members 'are drawn from both the fair and unfair sexes - all belong to the staff of A.H. Massina & Co. Pty. Ltd., Publishers of "The Australian Journal"'. The event to raise money for the Red Cross,was held at Ormond Hall, Moubray Street, St. Kilda on Friday, 11 July, 1941.
