AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The speaker recollects how he and some unemployed friends were poking around the ruins of a deserted gold battery when they noticed some slag still in the bottom of a crucible. Scraping it out, they found it still contained gold and were handsomely rewarded when they cashed it in.
