AbstractHistoryArchive Description

'Her sound poem Dive uses a combination of environmental and found sounds, generated sounds, vocalisations, music and words to provide the mood and meaning of the work. Jayne created Dive while on a residency at Cornell University in the USA in 2005, where she was given access to the US Navy's marine audio archive. Jayne talks about the genesis of the work and then we'll hear the sound poem in its entirety.'
