(p. 171)A tribute to the Anzacs who were slain at Sari Bair [Bahr]. The ghosts of the deceased - noble in brotherhood, self-sacrifice, and faith - cry from the cliffs above Anzac Cove: 'The fleet! The fleet! 'Twas not in vain!'.Note: Editor's note: 'On the 4th of November, Allied warships passed through the Dardanelles and entered the Sea of Marmora. The event inspired Mr. C. J. Dennis, the well-known Australian poet, to write the following poem, which appeared in The Herald, Melbourne.'
