Notes

  • Editor's note: The King of France has at length visited the Queen of England; and, strange to say, has gone back again - alive! Our poet 'Shribbs', with his usual sagacity, has embodied the important results of these mutual monarchical meetings in a short, but comprehensive canzonet; which also embraces a prior grand historical event and its consequence.
