Report of function to farewell Mr. E. C. M. Draper on the occasion of his leaving Cairns. The function was attended by approximately 25 five of Cairns's leading citizens and Mr Draper was presented with sixty sovereigns and a gold locket in appreciation of his many years of journalistic service to the district.
