Author's note: Eva Peron (Maria Eva Duarte), second wife of Argentinian dictator Juan Peron, was born on the 17 May 1919 in Los Toldos, a village far away from Buenos Aires. She was a legend in her time and became the most powerful woman in Latin America. She died on the 26 July 1952.
