Notes

  • Author's note: It should be explained that 'The Triangle' is a three-cornered piece of park land at one end of St George's Terrace, Perth, where the road divides. The houses opposite are mostly used by medical men and no doubt thousands have sat on the seats under the trees and awaited or absorbed the doctor's verdict. It was on such an occasion that the author conceived the folllowing poem.
