AbstractHistoryArchive Description

The life experiences of an Aboriginal woman from the mid 1920s to the mid 1980s.who lived in the North West of New South Wales. Jeans recollections are happy ones and describes her life on the Pilliga mission and moving into a house for the first time. Her story looks at the positive side of life as she describes family relationships, signifcant events such as Christmas, employment and her marriage to the eventual forstering of her children.
