The World Turned Upside Down : A Modern Morality Play,
single work
drama
The play considers the impact of the birth and teachings of Christ on traditional government, educational, scientific and religious practices, and celebrates the power of goodness, beauty and truth. 'This play is quite unlike any other that has been based on the Christmas story. Through it the author suggests a remedy for our present inverted world - the marriage of Religion and Science, from which a new faith might be born or an old one revived. But though the theme is serious, the treatment of it is dramatic and often humorous'.
