1. 29 July 1978 (Australia). Screened at the 1978 New York Film Festival (1978) and 2007 ERA New Horizons Film Festival (Poland). Released commercially in the USA (30 May 1979 - New York City) and France (15 June 1983).
2. Released on videocassette format by Palm Beach Pictures in 1978 and on DVD format in 2004.

Location:

  • Filmed largely on location in and around Sydney. The Maitland flood scenes were filmed at Narabeen Lakes on Sydney's Northern Beaches.
