  • Author's note: A local suburban councillor offered his services as voluntary litter inspector, his claim for eligibility being that he drove every week-end to Mandurah, drank three cans of beer on the way, and never threw the empties out the window, but kept them in the car until he reached his destination, and then disposed of them in the rubbish bin.
