AbstractHistoryArchive Description

''The Boathouse" by Angela Murphy is a funny and witty tale about a man's battle to save his favourite watering hole, with its fishy history, from the advancing tsunami of property development. Of course, he's got opposition. He's up against the property developer from Surfers, the boutique wife from Noosa, and the local Mayor from Hell - and none of them are giving him any peace. Will Ray beat the treacherous rips and tides and win the Boathouse back - or will his own natural lethargy sink him before a wave is struck?
