AbstractHistoryArchive Description
This story tells of a young Vietnamese boy who leaves his family's village to go to the city to prepare for the high-school entrance exam. His father wants a good education for him but his mother is sad that he has to leave home at such a young age. When he fails the exam the boy is upset and takes what he thinks of as 'the last train' home to his family. Once he arrives and sees his loving family waiting to greet him he realises this is where he belongs.
