  • Epigraph: This 60-yaer-old individual, who lived some 28 thousand years ago, was buried in garments, presumably of leather, onto which was sewn hundreds of mammoth-tusk beads. He was also wearing mammoth-tusk bracelets and pendants and necklaces of shell and animal teeth. - Ian Tattersall.
