In England in October 1839, a young clergyman is abducted and imprisoned and his fiancee is pursued by an old rich man who wants to marry her. He persuades her that her fiancee is unfaithful but on the eve of the wedding he escapes and returns to her - with the help of a dwarf! (PB)
