The material is divided into 3 parts:
Part One, Wrestling with an Octopus, details some local history and the impact of public housing policies on residents.
Part Two, How Did I Get Here, is a series of personal accounts of migration.
Part Three, Collingwood Lives looks at some of the common experiences of local life: dealing with credit sharks, police, stories of working life and other neighbourhood facts and fictions.
