Beginning next month, with the first issue dated April 7, West Australian. Newspapers, Ltd., will publish a new weekly radio journal of 64 pages, called 'The Broadcaster.' Publication will be continuous, each issue bearing the date of Saturday in every week.

Many novel and interesting features will be incorporated in the new journal, which, it is intended, shall have the widest possible appeal. Besides articles devoted to broadcasting, and the people concerned with it, there will be a fresh crossword puzzle every week, a humorous section, a Test cricket competition (for which cash prizes will be offered), and, for followers of racing and trotting, details of a system by which exclusive last-minute information will be imparted to readers of the paper every Saturday.

Special attention will be given to programmes, including those for both local and Eastern States stations. Each day's programmes will be set out in the clearest possible manner, so as to make reference to them easy. For those interested in technical matters of the day, there will be a special section, conducted by 'Electron,' formerly of 'The West Australian.' Illustrations will be one of the most attractive features of 'The Broadcaster.' Cartoons, caricatures and photographs in abundance will be inserted throughout its pages, and, as a newsprint of an especially fine quality is to be used, good finish and reproduction of them are assured. The journal will be sold to the public at 3d. a copy.
