Notes

  • All of the essays in this collection have been published anonymously.
  • Editor's note: Careful consideration was given to the sequencing of this book. We decided not to arrange the stories in any specific order, but to allow them to come together as randomly as the women did, when they came and told their stories.

This selection of stories aims to acknowledge each women's personal experience, rather than stereotyping by countries of origin, age, etc.

We thank these women for their trust and generosity.
