'Technocraton is an automated metropolis of the 21st century. An emperor computer and robots make the human workforce increasingly redundant. To counter unemployment, boredom and unrest, the city leaders think of an unusual plan...to build a pyramid.' - the book.

Notes

  • The original material of Technocraton was completed in 1972. It was revised in 1973 when an extra scene was added. The title was changed from Technocratron to Technocraton ('Technocrat Town')

Production Details

  • First performed as a workshop production at the Q Theatre, Adelaide, September 1973.
