BiographyHistory

Sheila Cousins is reputed to be the pseudonymous English author of To Beg I am Ashamed. Some speculate that the real author was Graham Greene, others suggest Ronald Matthews and some claim Cecil Barr. To Beg I am Ashamed was banned in Australia in 1938.
