BiographyHistory

Though born in South Africa, Brain has lived in Perth for twenty years and has worked as an Australian teacher of English in Hong Kong. She has a PhD in Medieval Literature(English), an MA in Anglo-Saxon literature and an MA in creative writing with an emphasis on poetry. During 2001, she took leave for a year and lived in south-west Western Australia to write poetry.
