BiographyHistory

Established in 1890 to publish the children's newspaper, Young Australia, which Josephine Fotheringhame had purchased from its founder, Louisa Lawson, the Young Australia Office also published one book for children, Sir Valdemar the Ganger: A Tale of the Days of King Haco, written by the Fotheringhame herself. Young Australia ran for almost 25 years, until ca. 1914.
