A group of exceptional young athletes from all over the country have been selected for training at Challenge Camp Australia. Who will make the final cut to win a scholarship to the Australian Sport Academy and maybe a shot at Olympic gold in Sydney in 2000? All have shown potential in their various sports, but now their physical and mental capacities are to be tested to the limit. Stakes are high, competition is fierce and relationships are tested as tensions surface within the group. Tthe tasks set by their eccentric coach, Rasputin, are becoming increasingly bizarre.
